Position Summary

This role is crucial in developing and executing BMS's global medical strategy within Oncology. The WW Medical Oncology Medical Product Lead (MPL) is a strategic leader responsible for medical insights, interpretation of tumor landscapes, and dissemination of clinical data. The Senior Director, MPL, oversees the Izalontamab Brengitecan (IzaBren) asset across multiple indications, ensuring strategic development and execution within a complex cross-functional matrix.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global medical strategies for IzaBren.
• Lead the Asset/Indication Medical Strategy (AIMS) team.
• Align asset positioning with BMS disease area strategies.
• Participate in senior leadership meetings to influence broader initiatives.
• Oversee development across tumor types, aligning with development plans and commercialization frameworks.
• Craft and execute scientific narratives and medical communication strategies.
• Manage evidence plans to address unmet needs and support evidence generation activities.
• Coordinate medical communications, publications, and educational initiatives.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure clear understanding and communication of scientific data.
• Represent the asset at senior meetings and support business development activities.
• Lead operational excellence within matrix teams and share best practices.
• Engage with external thought leaders and develop access programs to ensure equitable medicine access globally.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Mentor and lead teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare (MD, PharmD, PhD).
• At least 7 years in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Oncology.
• Strong analytical, scientific, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent strategic thinking, decision-making, and communication abilities.
• Position based in HQ with approximately 20% travel required.
