Job summary

DEPT® is a Growth Invention company helping world‑class brands grow faster. The Associate Director, Visual Design, defines the visual North Star and builds cohesive ecosystems across brand, product, and digital experiences.

You will lead a design leadership team, collaborate with C‑suite and stakeholders, and drive strategic, high‑impact design initiatives while pushing for scalable systems and cutting‑edge technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of visual and interactive design for global brands, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Visual Arts, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Mastery of Figma (components, variants, auto layout) and familiarity with Hubspot, Google Suite, Slack.
• Experience developing and maintaining a robust design system.
• AI-Enhanced Production Ecosystems: adopting generative AI tools in the design pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Set the overarching visual strategy and design principles for the entire creative department across digital, brand, and product touchpoints.
• Oversee the evolution of global design systems for scalability, accessibility, and visual sophistication.
• Act as primary creative partner to C-suite executives and key client stakeholders to solve business challenges with design.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure feasibility and alignment from ideation to launch.
• Mentor and elevate the design discipline, driving process improvements and operational efficiency.
