Protective Asset Protection is seeking a Senior Director, Underwriting to lead risk, governance, and portfolio performance across multiple lines. The role partners with Product, Actuarial, Finance, Sales, and Operations to drive profitable growth and robust risk controls.

The position requires strategic thinking, data-driven decision making, and the ability to develop a high-performance underwriting organization for our nationwide footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7 years of progressive underwriting/portfolio experience.
• 4+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience managing portfolio performance across multiple products, programs, markets, or distribution channels.
• Strong analytics and forecasting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise portfolio risk management across products and geographies.
• Direct underwriting strategy and governance with pricing/eligibility frameworks.
• Oversee models, forecasts, and simulations; translate insights to strategy.
• Shape product strategy through cross-functional leadership with Product/Actuarial.
• Develop scalable processes and mentor talent; provide executive insights.
