Job summary

Protective Asset Protection is seeking a Senior Director, Underwriting to lead underwriting excellence and portfolio performance across multiple products. You will drive risk management, governance, and data-driven decision making while partnering with Product, Actuarial, Finance, Sales, and Operations leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with forecasting and modeling experience.
• Proven leadership experience with direct people management responsibilities.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategy and execution.
• Experience with analytics and performance metrics to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Leads enterprise portfolio risk management and performance oversight across products and channels.
• Directs underwriting strategy execution and governance with pricing, eligibility and exceptions.
• Oversees models, forecasts, and simulations to guide decisions across programs.
• Shapes product strategy through cross-functional leadership with Product and Actuarial teams.
• Drives operational excellence, mentors talent, and provides executive-level reporting.
