Deciphera, a biopharmaceutical company focused on cancer therapies, seeks a Director of Trade & Distribution to lead U.S. trade and distribution for its oncology and rare disease portfolio.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational expertise, overseeing specialty pharmacy, distributors, wholesalers, and 3PL partnerships to ensure product availability and execution excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience.
• 10+ years of experience managing distribution operations, trade operations, channel operations, or related functions.
• 8+ years of experience managing Specialty Pharmacy, distributor, wholesaler, and/or 3PL relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead relationships with specialty pharmacies, distributors, wholesalers, 3PL providers, and other trade partners to ensure strong business performance and service levels.
• Develop and execute trade and distribution strategies aligned with Market Access objectives and portfolio growth.
• Oversee outsourced distribution activities including inventory visibility, fulfillment, and returns.
• Support launch planning and distribution readiness activities for new products and indications.
• Lead partner business reviews, negotiations, and operational improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Patient Support, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Commercial teams for alignment and continuity of supply.
