Job summary

Deciphera is seeking a senior leader to drive U.S. trade and distribution strategies for our oncology and rare disease portfolio.

You will oversee partner relationships, negotiate with distributors and 3PLs, and guide operational execution to ensure product availability for launches and ongoing access across the United States. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor channel performance, and provide strategic insights to influence company decisions and investments in supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with focus in business, science, or supply chain.
• Proven leadership in pharma/biotech distribution and partnerships.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

Job description

Role: Lead U.S. trade and distribution strategies for Deciphera's oncology and rare disease portfolio, overseeing partner relationships and operational execution to ensure product availability and support new launches.

Responsibilities

• manage specialty pharmacy, distributor, wholesaler, and 3PL partnerships;
• oversee outsourced distribution activities, including inventory management, fulfillment, and returns;
• lead partner negotiations, performance reviews, and operational improvements;
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply continuity and operational excellence;
• monitor channel performance and identify improvement opportunities;
• influence organizational decisions through channel insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or Supply Chain;
• 15+ years in pharma/biotech, with 10+ years managing distribution-related functions;
• extensive experience managing Specialty Pharmacy, distributor, and 3PL relationships;
• proven track record in operational oversight and partner negotiations;
• strong analytical, communication, and project management skills;
• ability to influence cross-functional decisions.

Preferred qualifications

• experience with oncology, rare disease, biologics, specialty pharma, distribution models, and product launches;
• knowledge of order-to-cash, inventory, and compliance processes;
• advanced degrees such as MBA, MPH, PharmD preferred.
