Job summary

GE Aerospace in the United States is seeking a Senior Director – Programs & Operations Leader within ITC, responsible for designing and operating a cohesive trade compliance framework across the company. You will lead a team of trade compliance experts to translate regulations and business priorities into scalable policies and governance.

This role reports to the Executive Leader, ITC, and partners with Legal, Digital Technology, HR, Communications and Audit to embed compliance into business

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of professional experience, or an Associate with 12+ years, or a HS diploma with 14 years.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in international trade compliance, regulatory compliance, legal, risk, operations, or a related discipline.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities

• Translate ITC strategy into enterprise priorities and execution plans.
• Develop, implement, and govern ITC policies, programs, standards, and operating requirements.
• Define and manage the ITC operating model, including escalation paths, routines, and decision‑making processes.
• Establish metrics, dashboards, and management systems to assess program effectiveness, monitor execution, and provide visibility to priorities and risks.
• Lead and integrate ITC enablement capabilities, including extended network, training, communications, digital tools, and risk management.
• Drive standardization, simplification, and continuous improvement of ITC processes across the enterprise.
• Sponsor cross‑functional initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and maturity of the ITC program.
• Build strong partnerships across Legal, Digital Technology, HR, Communications, Audit, and business stakeholders to embed trade compliance requirements into operations.
