Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Senior Director - ITC, Strategic Licensing to lead export licensing and operations across its global divisions. You will set strategic vision, engage with government officials, and ensure compliance with ITAR and EAR while enabling global growth.

The role requires deep experience in international trade compliance, risk management, and cross-functional leadership, with a focus on improving systems and processes to secure timely authorizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of professional experience OR equivalent
• Experience in International Trade Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, or related discipline in a complex global organization
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage GE Aerospace export licensing and operations teams across all business divisions and subsidiaries.
• Set the strategic vision and oversee procurement of all business critical export authorizations.
• Lead engagement with government officials as required.
• Ensure export authorizations comply with ITAR and EAR requirements and support national security requirements.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to identify needs and optimize export authorizations for global growth.
• Monitor export authorization trends and best practices with US Government and industry counterparts.
• Advise on implications of proposed laws/regulations on GE Aerospace strategy.
• Drive enhancements of systems and procedures to optimize management of authorizations.
• Collaborate with ITC Leadership to drive continuous improvement.
• Undertake special projects and support compliance program initiatives.
• Apply AI to optimize preparation and submission of export authorizations.
