Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock in Toronto (Hybrid) seeks a Director/Senior Director to lead Technology Audit and Advisory Services across NA Segment, Global Wealth & Asset Management, and Data Technology Office. Responsible for delivering high-quality, risk-based internal audits and advancing SOX automation and analytics.

You will guide audit strategy, development of procedures, and meaningful reporting to senior technology management while overseeing resource planning and project execution.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with the confidence to present to senior management.
• Ability to understand complex business processes, risks, and controls, and provide practical recommendations.
• Deep knowledge of audit methodologies, regulatory requirements, and technology risk in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver North America Segment Technology audits including infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Drive SOX ITGC work and leverage automation and analytics to improve efficiency.
• Develop and execute annual audit plan and report on risks and controls.
• Lead and develop a high-performance audit team; foster continuous improvement and data-driven approaches.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Technology and Information Risk Management.
