Job summary

TransUnion is seeking a Director, Audit and Advisory to lead Global Audit & Advisory’s professional practices, overseeing international regions and reporting to the VP. This hybrid role combines virtual work with in-person office presence at least two days a week.

You will steer the audit methodology, QAIP, risk assessment, and planning, while advancing data analytics, automation, and responsible AI across the internal audit lifecycle. Strong collaboration with senior leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of internal audit leadership across dispersed teams.
• Expertise in internal audit methodology, risk assessment, audit planning, quality assurance, and issue management.
• Experience leading global or cross-regional initiatives and challenging senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to develop leaders and manage organizational change.
• CIA/CPA/CISA/CFE certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead GAA’s global professional practices function and oversee international audit regions.
• Own and enhance audit methodology, manuals, templates, guidance, and documentation standards.
• Lead QAIP and external quality assessment readiness and remediation efforts.
• Lead or coordinate global risk assessment and annual audit planning methodology.
• Support executive reporting on audit plan performance, themes, and emerging risks.
• Develop and advance GAA’s audit technology, data analytics, automation, and AI strategy.
• Provide leadership oversight for designated international regions and cross-border engagements.
• Lead talent development through coaching and certification programs.
