Eli Lilly and Company in Lebanon, Indiana, seeks a Senior Director of Technical Services/Manufacturing Science (TS/MS) for Small Molecule or Peptides to provide strategic and operational leadership for startup and ongoing operations at the LP1 site.

This role drives technical excellence, process validation, technology transfer, and regulatory compliance, builds strong partnerships, and mentors future leaders to support global manufacturing objectives.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry or related field.
• 15+ years in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing with leadership in TS/MS or similar department.
• Large scale manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead TS/MS for small molecule or peptide operations, including new product introduction and optimization.
• Develop and execute strategic and operational plans for TSMS aligned with site and corporate goals.
• Ensure validated state of all processes and compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Build strong technical partnerships with SMDD, Global TSMS, and other global functions.
• Oversee preparation and timely completion of technical documentation and reports.
• Provide leadership in technical problem-solving, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach and mentor team members, ensuring resource allocation and capability development.
• Represent TS/MS in cross-functional governance and strategic decision-making forums.
