Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis is seeking a senior scientist to lead the development of parenteral drug products from clinical to commercialization. You will define manufacturing processes, drive tech transfer, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, quality, and regulatory.

The role emphasizes advancing biologics and small molecules, implementing new technologies, and ensuring compliance with cGMP.

Qualifications

PhD/MS/BS in Engineering or related field with industry experience as specified.
Experience in pharmaceutical development or manufacturing.
Knowledge of biologics parenteral product development and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

Define and develop clinical manufacturing processes for parenteral drug products.
Drive collaboration with cross functional stakeholders to develop process control strategies.
Lead manufacturing related process design, scale up, and mentor junior scientists.
Technology transfer: internal and external capacity evaluation, risk assessment, and docs.
Collaborate to define process qualification and control strategy; address gaps.
