Job summary

iRiS Recruiting Solutions in the Southwestern Pennsylvania area seeks a senior engineering leader to own broad technical operations across engineering, EH&S, facilities, and utilities.

You will guide capital projects from scoping to startup, oversee safety programs, and drive improvements in throughput, yield, and equipment utilization in a highly automated environment. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering or technical operations experience.
• 5+ years leading capital projects, expansions, installations, and commissioning.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary technical or engineering teams.
• Knowledge of Siemens and/or Allen-Bradley/Rockwell automation.
• Food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or similarly regulated manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Guide technical operations across engineering, EH&S, facilities, and utilities.
• Improve throughput, yield, process stability, equipment utilization, reliability, and manufacturing performance.
• Partner with Operations and Maintenance to reduce chronic equipment and process losses.
• Lead capital projects and facility expansion from scoping and budgeting through installation, commissioning, and startup.
• Oversee facilities, utilities, shutdown planning, contractors, infrastructure, schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Strengthen safety programs, including lockout/tagout, confined space, contractor safety, and commissioning.
• Build technical capability through engineering standards, documentation, training, and skills development.
