Job summary

Atoms is seeking a senior accounting leader to own complex U.S. GAAP matters and guide strategic decisions across the finance function. You will partner with Controllership, Legal, and Corporate Development to ensure compliant, scalable solutions for critical activities.

The role requires a CPA, 12+ years of experience, and deep GAAP knowledge. Based in one of our U.S. offices, it offers competitive pay and total rewards with equity potential.

Qualifications

• CPA required and license active.
• 12+ years of accounting experience.
• Big 4 background preferred.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ability to research complex matters.
• Strong technical writing to document memoranda for executives and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Atoms' subject-matter expert on technical accounting across complex transactions and initiatives.
• Lead research, evaluation, and documentation of accounting conclusions under U.S. GAAP, with memoranda.
• Collaborate with Controllership, Legal, Corporate Development, and external auditors on accounting implications.
• Monitor new guidance and drive company-wide accounting policies and implementation.
• Translate complex accounting issues into practical guidance for senior leadership.
