Position Summary

Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Management within the Global Talent & Learning (GTL) CoE, the Senior Director of Performance & Talent Planning will be accountable for developing and driving a multi-year, global enterprise-wide performance and talent planning strategy aligned with our People and enterprise objectives. This leader will transform our performance and talent planning strategies to strengthen a high-performance culture and build leadership bench across the organization. Responsibilities include connecting philosophy and practices across performance and potential, providing insight on key talent, and digitizing processes for seamless leadership and associate experience. Collaboration with GTL CoE, Chief People Officers, Product and Technology teams, and the business is essential.

This position is based in Bentonville, Arkansas.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design an integrated performance and talent planning strategy to reinforce a high-performing culture and develop leadership bench.
  • Partner with senior HR leaders to prepare for talent reviews, board meetings, and other executive forums.
  • Create a digital, app-based talent experience covering performance cycles, career conversations, development plans, and succession planning.
  • Support segment Chief People Officers in key milestones and advise on maximizing impact.
  • Assist with talent management initiatives such as 360 surveys and developmental assessments.
  • Drive talent KPIs including high potential metrics and development plan completion.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10-15 years in Talent Management or Strategy roles, preferably in a global environment.
  • Strategic talent acumen for high performance and employee growth.
  • Experience partnering with senior management and building trusted relationships.
  • Leadership experience in managing teams and implementing talent programs.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of belonging.
  • Openness to leveraging data and technology for talent strategies.
