Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Senior Director, Supply Chain – Distribution & Logistics to lead end-to-end optimization across client networks in the U.S. You will design network solutions, run cost/benefit analyses, and oversee transformation programs from planning through execution.

The role requires deep expertise in distribution/logistics, strong analytical and presentation skills, and the ability to drive complex projects with cross-functional teams. Travel is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of combined consulting and industry operating experience.
• Deep functional expertise in distribution and logistics network optimization.
• Experience leading or modeling supply chains using software tools (Llamasoft).
• Flexibility to travel as required by project needs.
• Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply-chain network design and footprints.
• Develop transformation plans and implementation roadmaps with quantified benefits.
• Lead client engagements and manage project teams.
• Conduct sourcing events and negotiate with 3PL providers.
• Oversee deliverables quality and client relationships.
