Job summary

The University of the Pacific seeks an Associate Dean of Student Conduct and Community Standards in Stockton, CA. Reporting to AVP for Student Life, this leadership role directs the Student Code of Conduct and prevention programming, guiding students, staff, and faculty to uphold integrity and campus safety.

You will oversee adjudication, train conduct board members, manage confidential data, and coordinate with campus partners.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in student conduct, residential life, prevention programming, or related areas.
• Knowledge of FERPA, Title IX, Clery Act, ADA/504, etc.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; ability to interact with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in MS Office, databases, and electronic communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of unit policies and programs related to the Student Code of Conduct.
• Oversee adjudication process with protections of due process and access for all parties.
• Administer training, supervision, and evaluation of conduct board members; serve as hearing/officer as needed.
• Provide prevention and education programs to reduce high-risk behaviors; ensure compliance with state/federal regs.
• Deliver biweekly reports to the AVP and analyze data to improve programming.
• Manage unit budget and supervise staff; collaborate with campus partners.
• Participate in CARE Team and Behavioral Intervention Team activities.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours crises as part of on-call rotation.
