Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences in San Diego seeks a strategic Sourcing leader to drive category strategies, oversee the team, and coordinate with senior stakeholders to optimize spend, supplier performance, and risk across the organization.

You will guide negotiations, governance and process improvements, advancing sourcing capabilities and ensuring compliant, value-driven outcomes. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Procurement is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Procurement required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a sourcing team.
• Experience translating priorities into multi-year category strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Sourcing team with accountability for performance and results.
• Develop and execute multi-year sourcing and category strategies aligned with objectives.
• Lead complex sourcing engagements using RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, negotiations and bidding.
• Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to shape sourcing strategy and adoption.
• Identify and document savings, cost avoidance and process improvements.
• Provide leadership for strategic supplier management and governance.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
