Job summary

Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey seeks a seasoned program leader to guide large-scale, multi-year initiatives. You will plan, direct and coordinate activities to ensure on-budget, on-schedule delivery and business benefits, while shaping governance and best practices.

In this role you will interact with EVPs and steering committees, manage a $20M+ annual budget, and lead a team of 5–25 project management professionals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience leading large-scale programs/projects.
• Must have managed multi-year programs/portfolios with budgets in excess of $20M.
• Experience with project and portfolio management tools and financial support systems.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required or must obtain within one year of hire.
• Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct multi-year portfolio and/or program execution plans.
• Primary point of contact for Program status; maintain communication with senior leadership and steering committees.
• Ensure programs are on plan, on budget, and deliver measurable business benefits.
• Coordinate and respond to changes from original specifications; manage risks and dependencies.
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans and documentation; oversee delivery methodology.
• Provide program management advice and resolve problems; lead a team of PM professionals.
