Job summary

Apex Technology in Playa Vista, CA is seeking a Senior Director of Capture to scale our capture organization and lead major strategic pursuits in space systems. As a player-coach leader, you will manage Capture Managers, mature our companywide capture process, and personally lead winning proposals from identification through award, aligning customer needs with Apex capabilities.

• 8+ years in capture management, proposal development or BD.
• Experience building and leading capture, proposal or BD teams.
• Ownership of large captures with a track record of winning.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and manage a team of Capture Managers.
• Own and mature companywide capture process, standards, tooling, and gate reviews.
• Lead major strategic captures from ID to proposal and award.
• Develop and oversee capture/win strategies aligned with customer needs and Apex capabilities.
• Analyze mission requirements and competitive landscape to shape winning solutions.
• Collaborate with BD, systems engineers, and spacecraft engineers to define mission architectures.
