Job summary

Leap Health, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Specialty Benefits Programs to design and operate programs aligning benefit design, clinical requirements, and member engagement.

This hands-on product ownership role will define capabilities, build or contract necessary functions, and scale operations with collaboration across Sales, Legal, Clinical Affairs, Operations, and Client Success. You will turn complex benefit and operational requirements into scalable models, drive savings for clients,

Qualifications

• Experience owning a healthcare product or offering from design through implementation and live operation.
• Experience working directly with self-funded employers and TPAs, and navigating dependencies to implement programs across employers, TPAs, health plans, networks.
• Experience identifying capability gaps and building or contracting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and evolution of Leap's specialty benefit programs.
• Define program structure, rules, participation requirements, and clinical criteria.
• Translate client requirements into product, operational, and partner needs.
• Identify capabilities, infrastructure, and partnerships to operate programs.
• Determine build vs. partner strategy for capabilities.
• Evaluate, select, and contract with enabling partners including TPAs and vendors.
• Own operating model, including prior authorization workflows and SLAs.
• Drive day-to-day execution and resolve issues across internal and external partners.
• Define and track performance across engagement, utilization, savings, and member experience.
