Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a highly technical Director of SOX Compliance to lead our end-to-end SOX program within a fast-evolving technology environment. You will partner with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and external auditors to build a best-in-class control framework and drive remediation with executive visibility.

You will lead the team, develop scalable controls, and deliver dashboards that inform risk and governance at the highest level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• CPA, CISA, or CIA certification required (CPA strongly preferred).
• 15+ years of progressive, hands-on SOX compliance experience.
• Deep expertise in ITGCs and ITACs; evaluate control design and testing methodologies.
• Proven track record maturing SOX programs in tech environments.
• Strong knowledge of SOX, COSO, PCAOB, US GAAP.
• Excellent executive presence and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SOX compliance program and drive maturation.
• Assess scoping of in-scope systems, processes, and controls.
• Refine narratives, risk-control matrices, and control docs.
• Perform risk assessments to prioritize financial, operational, IT controls.
• Ensure SOX 404(b) and PCAOB standards compliance.
• Identify efficiency opportunities while maintaining control.
• Develop and deliver SOX training for employees at all levels.
• Create SOX playbooks and literacy materials.
• Act as go-to SOX SME for guidance.
• Track remediation and verify effectiveness.
• Report to Head of SOX, CAO, SteerCo; develop dashboards.
• Coordinate external audits; liaison with auditors.
• Drive automation and use GRC tools.
• Lead a team of 3 SOX professionals.
