Job summary

Stellar is seeking a senior leader to run Solutions Engineering, overseeing end-to-end enterprise engagements on the Stellar network. You will manage a team of Solutions Architects and Engineers, guide architecture decisions, and ensure scalable, secure integrations with partners.

You will collaborate across Product and Engineering to translate partner needs into roadmap priorities, while maintaining high-quality standards and enabling rapid, reliable deployments. Occasional travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have significant experience leading customer-facing engineering or solutions teams in fast-evolving environments.
• Strong technical background enabling architectural guidance and trade-off evaluation.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams (Solutions Architects, Forward-Deployed Engineers, Partner Engineers).

Responsibilities

• Own and refine Stellar’s Solutions Engineering program, including engagement models, partner tiering, and escalation paths.
• Build, mentor, and grow a team of Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers.
• Lead end-to-end technical partner engagements from discovery to production launch and support.
• Serve as senior technical escalation point for high-tiered partners and complex integrations.
• Provide architectural leadership: guidance on design, trade-offs, and derisking via reviews and prototyping.
• Set a high technical quality bar for secure, scalable, and future-proof integrations.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface partner needs and inform roadmaps.
• Design scalable engagement models and establish SLAs, documentation standards, and feedback loops.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and certification for solutions engineers.
• Represent SDF in strategic partner conversations and onsite engagements.
