Job summary
Mister Car Wash, headquartered in Tucson, AZ, seeks a Director of Software Development to lead the technology strategy for ecommerce, store integrations, and internal platforms. This role drives architecture, delivery, and engineering excellence across digital and in-store systems, partnering with Marketing, Operations, and BI to enable growth.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering or technology leadership.
- Experience leading engineering teams delivering both customer-facing and operational systems.
- Experience in retail, multi-location environments, or transaction-based systems preferred.
- 5+ years experience with Agile/DevOps practices and modern tooling.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technology strategy for software platforms including eCommerce and backend services.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Oversee design, development, and support of eCommerce platforms, integrations, and internal applications.
- Promote engineering excellence, security, scalability, and reliable delivery.
