AmeriLife is seeking an IT leader to drive engineering and deployment of large-scale delivery projects. You will guide design, testing and deployment across teams using Agile or Waterfall, while managing risks, budgets and regulatory considerations.

Strong executive communication and vendor negotiation skills are essential for success. The role emphasizes enterprise-wide coordination, leadership, and the ability to translate strategic IT plans into practical software solutions that meet business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and eight years IT experience, with five years in IT software engineering and five years in management.
• Executive level communications skills; ability to negotiate with vendors for products and services.
• Experience leading multiple teams and projects with enterprise-wide impact.

Responsibilities

• Direct the engineering and deployment of significant delivery projects in accordance with technical requirements, schedules and budgets.
• Oversee design, engineering, testing and deployment of application projects using Waterfall or Agile approaches.
• Develop departmental plans aligned with IT and business objectives; focus on long-term operations and performance.
• Apply systems engineering and administration expertise to guide team members and resolve complex problems.
• Identify and mitigate risks; manage funding and regulatory considerations with 2nd line of defense and regulators.
