Job summary

Archer, in partnership with JPMorgan Chase, seeks a Sr. Director of Security Engineering to lead the CAES organization within CTC Architecture.

You will own centralized engineering services spanning threat modeling, architecture platforms, automation, and quality platforms, reporting to CTC Architecture leadership. The role requires deep hands-on leadership, capacity planning, and governance across multiple pods, with accountability for secure-by-design practices, architecture decisions, and

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technology leadership experience
• Experience delivering and operating a platform/tool relied upon by multiple teams
• Experience reorganizing an engineering organization with delivery standards

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized software engineering execution across CTC Architecture.
• Organize engineers into pods for threat modeling, architecture, and automation.
• Maintain secure-by-design, data protection, and operational resilience for platforms built by CAES.
• Sequence development work with CAES Product Director against business cases and outcomes.
• Set operational excellence standards (SLOs, KPIs) and ensure delivery health across the portfolio.
