Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Sr. Director of Security Engineering to build and lead the CAES team, overseeing centralized architecture engineering services for threat modeling platforms, architecture platforms and automation, and test and quality platforms.

The role requires leading a senior executive-level organization, defining the operating model, capacity planning, and delivery standards across pods, while ensuring secure-by-design and data protection across platforms.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certificate with 15+ years in technology building and shipping software at enterprise scale.
• Experience leading centralized or shared-services engineering teams serving multiple product owners.
• Proven track record delivering secure-by-design architectures in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized engineering services and direct execution across CTC Architecture.
• Organize engineers into product-aligned pods covering security platforms and automation.
• Define operating model, pod structure, delivery standards, and capacity planning for the CAES organization.
• Set SLOs, KPIs, and quality standards for enterprise-scale software delivery.
• Partner with CAES Product Director to sequence development work and prioritize outcomes.
