Job summary

Entertimeonline is seeking an Executive Director of School Age Programs to lead 50 before/after school programs and 25 summer camps across a five-county area. This role guides staffing, training, and program quality while representing the organization with school boards, schools, partners, and funding agencies.

You will oversee budgeting, strategic plans, fundraising campaigns, and performance metrics, ensuring compliance with licensure and grant outcomes, and driving growth of youth development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in education, recreation, or human services.
• 5–7 years of experience managing youth, family, recreation programs, and events.
• Experience managing a $10 million annual budget.
• Must pass Level 2 Background Screening (FDLE and FBI).
• Strong leadership, training, and relationship-building abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Flexibility, energy and adaptability.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.
• Proficient with business software and office machines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fiscal responsibility for assigned Before & After School and Camp programs.
• Leads youth development programs and staff to meet fundraising goals.
• Develop strategic and operational plans for school age programs and manage the budget.
• Ensure budget commitments are met through fiscal stewardship of YMCA resources.
• Provides staff leadership for annual fund-raising campaign.
• Review enrollment, programs, services, and operation of programs to support the strategic vision of the YMCA.
• Identify community needs and innovates new childcare programs to fill the opportunity.
• Represents and interprets the impact of YMCA programing to internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of staff in assigned areas.
• Conduct program site visits and use quality assessment tools to observe, analyze, and improve quality.
• Assure compliance with state and local regulations and licensure guidelines.
• Collects, analyzes, and reports data as required for assigned programs.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.
