Habitat Omaha in Omaha, NE is seeking a Director of Construction to lead residential construction programs from planning through completion. You’ll manage construction staff, contractors, and resources to deliver safe, high-quality homes on time and within budget.

Reporting to the COO, you’ll oversee budgets, schedules, facilities, and vendor relationships, while advancing safety, dignity, and quality in every project. This is a strategic leadership role with a hands-on approach.

Formación

• 8–10+ years of progressive residential construction leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading multiple projects and teams across sites.
• Strong safety and quality focus with regulatory compliance.
• Proficient with construction management software and reporting tools.

Responsabilidades

• Lead construction management staff and field teams across multiple sites.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and resource allocation.
• Establish benchmarks and KPIs; monitor performance and address risks.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity and homeowner experience.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other departments to align priorities.
• Provide regular reports and insights to senior leadership on construction performance.
