Job summary

Amgen in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Data Science Sr Director, Research Data Domain Lead to guide the Research Data Enablement Hub and shape the data strategy across Research and Enterprise. This role requires scientific fluency and the ability to lead across a matrixed organization.

You will lead Subdomain Leads, Data Champions, and Data Stewards, drive FAIR data maturity, governance, and the portfolio of data products, while partnering with R&D Tech and EDSE to align priorities and invest

Qualifications

• Doctorate in a relevant field with 5+ years of significant relevant experience.
• Masters in a relevant field with 9 years of significant relevant experience.
• Bachelor's in a relevant field with 11 years of significant relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of people management/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Research Data Enablement Hub and execute the Research Data Domain Strategy.
• Develop a clear Research Data Domain vision, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
• Represent the Research Data Domain in enterprise governance forums.
• Provide accountability for Research domain data assets and products.
