Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Senior Director to shape the future of R&D portfolio planning and analytics. You will lead the integration of planning, analytics, AI, data, and technology to enable faster, higher-quality decisions and to build enduring capabilities across AbbVie.

The role drives enterprise data strategy, scalable processes, and a high-performing team, collaborating with R&D, Commercial, Finance, IT, and senior leadership to prioritize portfolios and optimize long-range planning.

Qualifications

Degree in business, a scientific discipline, information technology, data science or a related field required.
A master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
10+ years of management experience, 5+ years of analytics experience within the pharmaceutical industry; R&D experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set the vision for Planning and Analytics at AbbVie in collaboration with R&D leadership.
Lead data governance and planning systems with best-in-class program management.
Identify business needs and deploy analytics and technology to enable enterprise data analytics.
