Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Director of Portfolio Planning and Analytics to shape how AbbVie plans and manages its R&D portfolio. This enterprise leader will integrate analytics, AI, data, and technology to drive faster, higher-quality decisions and build enduring capabilities across AbbVie.

In this role, you will lead a world-class planning and analytics organization, set strategic direction, and collaborate with R&D, Commercial, Finance, IT/BTS, and senior executives to prioritize investments

Qualifications

Degree in business, a scientific discipline, information technology, data science or a related field required.
A master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
Experience in pharmaceutical R&D or portfolio planning is highly valued.
Proven leadership with ability to influence across senior levels.

Responsibilities

Set the vision for Planning and Analytics in R&D, collaborating with leadership across functions.
Lead a high-performing pipeline planning organization and data stewardship.
Deploy next-generation technology to enable enterprise data analytics ahead of peers.
Define data, digital, and technology strategy for portfolio performance and business excellence.
Champion AI and advanced analytics to modernize planning processes.
