Job summary

Generac is seeking a Senior Director of Product Security to lead our enterprise-wide program across connected energy solutions, software, and services. You will embed secure by design into the full product lifecycle.

You will define frameworks, governance, and incident response capabilities, leveraging IEC 62443 as the security foundation, and collaborate with Engineering, Legal, and Product leadership to drive global regulatory readiness.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise product security strategy and multi-year roadmap across connected products and services.
• Establish IEC 62443 as primary framework and apply requirements across industrial, commercial, and consumer products.
• Make product security a driver of customer trust and regulatory readiness.
• Partner with engineering and product leadership to embed security requirements and risk decisions into design, development, and release.
