Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Product Cybersecurity Architect to design secure architectures for Power, Wind, and Electrification products. You will lead threat modeling, translate security policy into engineering guidance, and contribute to secure development lifecycle practices across the product teams.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage AI-enabled tools for threat analysis, and help ensure auditability and compliance while scaling security work across industrial energy platforms.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in cybersecurity focusing on product, system, or architecture security.
• Experience delivering security architecture deliverables, threat models, and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443 (62443-3-2, 3-3, 4-1).
• Experience creating secure development artifacts such as security requirements and hardening guides.
• Familiarity with OT/ICS product architectures and energy sector deployments.
• Strong written communication translating security findings into actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Review secure architectures for industrial energy products, defining security zones and trust boundaries.
• Lead threat modeling and risk assessments with IEC 62443 alignment.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to generate DFDs, threat catalogs, and mitigations.
• Translate SDL requirements into product-specific security guidance.
• Support SDL end-to-end with security evidence and artifacts.
• Build reusable templates and libraries to raise team capability.
• Develop role-based security training and enablement materials.
