Oracle is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Power Generation Operations to lead and oversee both primary and secondary power generation assets at U.S. data center sites in Nashville, TN.

You will develop methods and procedures to protect compute load during transitions and partner with training teams to implement repair and maintenance programs. The role requires substantial leadership, deep knowledge of power systems, and a track record of managing complex energy agreements to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree preferred).
• 10+ years in power generation operations with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience with on-site generation and data center integration.
• Strong ability to develop and document MOPs for compute load protection.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams for operations and maintenance of primary and secondary power generation assets.
• Develop, document, and maintain MOPs for compute load protection during transitions.
• Collaborate on training and repair programs for generation staff.
• Negotiate and manage power plant agreements for on-site generation.
• Recruit and lead specialized teams to ensure 100% system availability.
• Monitor performance metrics for reliability, efficiency, and incident response.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
