Job summary

Oracle seeks a senior leader to direct power generation operations across on-site assets at U.S. data center facilities. You will develop procedures, mentor teams, and ensure high availability of primary and secondary power systems to support mission-critical workloads.

Responsibilities include creating robust training, negotiating plant agreements, and driving safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the power platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in power generation operations, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of on-site power generation technologies and integration into mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams responsible for operations and maintenance of primary and secondary power generation assets.
• Develop and maintain MOPs to protect compute load during generation transitions.
• Collaborate with training teams to deliver repair and maintenance programs for all staff.
• Negotiate and manage power plant agreements for on-site generation and uptime targets.
• Recruit and lead specialized teams to operate generation equipment and ensure 100% availability.
• Establish and report on metrics related to reliability and efficiency.
