Job summary

Leidos seeks a Program Director, Power Delivery Solutions to lead the delivery of engineering and professional services on large power delivery programs. The candidate should be local to the Washington, DC metro area or nearby Atlantic City, NJ, with deep experience in electric utilities and project leadership.

In this role, you will coordinate technical teams, supervise engineers and managers, develop program schedules, manage costs, and ensure contract requirements are met.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 10+ years of electric utility engineering experience.
• Functional understanding of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering as applied to power delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication; excellent team-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned program(s).
• Engage technical teams, review progress, and coordinate with engineering managers to maximize program outcomes.
• Collaborate with Section Managers on the delivery of engineering activities and resource assessment; escalate performance issues and opportunities.
• Partner with the PMO to optimize program management; provide issue management and deep-dive investigations.
• Develop financial forecasts of revenue and operating income for the program; work with BD/AM on client management initiatives.
• Support the VP-T&S on special projects as assigned.
