Job summary

Immunic Therapeutics seeks a Senior Director, Project Management & Operational Excellence to lead the PMO and strengthen execution across development programs and strategic initiatives. You will establish a fit-for-purpose PMO, integrating priorities, plans, risks, decisions and resources for clear enterprise visibility and timely decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business or related discipline.
• 12+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech with PMO or development-operations leadership.
• Experience leading a PMO or project-management function with senior PMs.
• Proven ability to oversee multiple global, cross-functional development programs.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and late-stage development milestones.
• Strong integrated planning, governance, risk management and resource prioritisation.
• Excellent executive communication, facilitation and decision-support skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Management and Operational Excellence function and define vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Coach and develop four project managers supporting development programs and strategic projects.
• Allocate PM resources based on portfolio priorities, complexity and milestones.
• Establish clear objectives, responsibilities and performance expectations for the team.
• Build a strong PM community with consistent standards, tools and ways of working.
• Ensure governance, planning, reporting and risk-management practices are fit-for-purpose.
• Provide oversight across programs with clear accountability for delivery within cross-functional teams.
• Monitor critical-path activities, dependencies and emerging risks.
• Deliver portfolio-level visibility into priorities, trade-offs and resource needs.
• Prepare executive updates and concise scenarios to support timely decisions.
