Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Director, Platform Distribution & Partnerships to lead a team responsible for managing v/MVPD, Peacock, and FAST distribution and to negotiate and oversee distribution agreements across NBCU’s portfolio. You will drive strategic initiatives, ensure execution, and align partnerships with business objectives.

Collaborating with Marketing, Product, Finance, Legal, and Operations, you will shape partnership strategies, analyze market trends, and maximize reach.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or digital media distribution within TV, film, or streaming.
• Extensive experience negotiating complex distribution agreements and managing high-profile partner relationships.
• Direct experience with v/MVPD and DTC agreements and negotiations.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the media landscape, business models, and evolving consumer behaviors in television and digital media.
• Proven ability to lead teams and foster high-performance culture.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to senior leadership and partners.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and execute distribution agreements across a diverse portfolio of partners (v/MVPD, DTC, FAST).
• Oversee and manage a team, providing strategic direction and mentorship.
• Develop and implement partnership strategies to drive subscriber growth and revenue.
• Maintain relationships with distribution partners and align mutual goals.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (marketing, product, content, finance, legal) to support initiatives.
• Analyze market trends and platform performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Structure and model partnership terms to optimize business impact.
• Act as a thought leader to advocate innovative distribution approaches.
• Represent NBCUniversal at external meetings and industry events.
