Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Senior Director, Business Technology Strategy to align divisional technology needs with Pfizer’s platform standards and eight Digital Core Platforms. You will lead a Director-level technical team, chair the Architecture Review Board, and drive governance while delivering faster, safer, and reusable digital capabilities at global scale.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
12+ years of leadership experience in technology strategy, business partnership, or large-scale program delivery.
Experience aligning business-division technology needs with enterprise platforms and standards.
Proven ability to lead and develop senior technical talent, including Director-level specialists.
Experience advising senior leaders on technology direction, priorities, and measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between business divisions and Digital to align technology direction.
Align divisional needs to Pfizer’s eight Digital Core Platforms and digital standards.
Lead and develop a team of Director-level Technical Specialists.
Chair or co-lead the Architecture Review Board and uphold architecture standards.
Provide clear leadership, structured communication, and governance across divisions.
Ensure reliable, secure, and reusable digital capabilities at enterprise scale.
