Perdue Foods in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking an Associate Director of Operations to guide processing facilities toward operational excellence and profitability. You will lead plant operations, develop leadership teams, and drive safety culture while ensuring customer-focused results.

We offer a base salary ranging from $146,000 to $220,000 with annual bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package. This role requires travel up to 25% and relocation may be required based on assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience in Business or Ag-Business.
• Minimum of 10 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of budget development and administration, report analysis, USDA and employment law.
• Broad integrated knowledge of live production and plant operations.
• Ability to travel to remote facilities and/or offices for meetings up to 25% of the time.
• Must be willing to relocate, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Work with Operations management in establishing and measuring operating and capital budgets for the operation in a manner to enable the operation to maintain a competitive position in the industry.
• Lead and develop each plant processing area to ensure plant metrics are met.
• Work with all support departments to ensure each facet of the organization is working together for associate engagement and meet company goals.
• Provide feedback and guidance to the processing team in developing solutions for improving processes, maintaining processing environment, and innovative problem solving.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and promote a community image of the Company as the preferred place to work.
• Ensure that product quality, service, and reliability meet or exceed our customers’ expectations.
