Job summary

NRG Energy seeks a Sr. Director, People AI Experience to lead a team driving the strategy for adopting, governing, and scaling AI across People processes and employee experiences.

This role owns the AI roadmap and governance, partnering with Enterprise AI, Learning, Finance and HR to embed AI responsibly across the workforce. You will guide workforce readiness, shape change management, and oversee an enterprise workflow redesign that improves productivity and enables effective human-AI

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in enterprise transformation.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, MIS, or related field.
• Experience leading large-scale change and adoption programs.
• Strong understanding of AI adoption and responsible AI practices.
• Ability to influence senior executives and align stakeholders.
• Excellent strategic planning and governance skills.
• Exceptional communication and change-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to drive the strategy for adopting and scaling AI across People processes.
• Own the People AI roadmap, intake, prioritization, and governance.
• Partner with Enterprise AI, Learning, Finance, and HR to align initiatives.
• Develop workforce readiness plans and change strategies for AI.
• Represent executive leadership and report on progress and risks.
• Guide workflow redesign programs to enable human-AI collaboration.
