Job summary

RGA is seeking a seasoned professional to lead Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) initiatives across the Americas Institutional Markets. You will drive complex transactions from triage to implementation, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing negotiations.

The role emphasizes strategic marketing, relationship-building with consultants and sponsors, and leveraging market insights to position RGA as the partner of choice in pension de-risking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 10+ years pension consulting or life/health insurance experience.
• 2+ years hands-on transactional experience in PRT markets (direct carrier, broker, advisor, law firm).
• Experience with RFPs, pricing, investments, and pension administration processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead large/complex Pension Risk Transfer (PRT) transactions from triage to implementation.
• Serve as operational focal point coordinating cross-functional resources.
• Collaborate with Global Strategy and Transaction Services on plans.
• Engage with US PRT Business Development to maintain contacts with consultants and sponsors.
• Position RGA as insurer partner of choice in PRT via best practices.
• Oversee PRT negotiations and quoting processes.
• Work with marketing teams to gather market intelligence and set strategic plans.
• Foster relationships with consultants, brokers, fiduciaries, and plan sponsors.
