Job summary

Genentech is seeking a Senior Director, Patient Insights & Analytics to serve as the strategic decision-support engine behind patient engagement and portfolio strategies. You will lead a high-performing analytics team, bridging patient journey expertise with AI/ML methods and scalable technology to shape commercial strategies and NBA frameworks.

Based in South San Francisco with a hybrid schedule (3 days on campus), you will build robust analytics, measure ROI of patient support programs, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Health Economics, Business Analytics, Life Sciences).
12+ years of experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical analytics, decision support, or management consulting with healthcare focus.
5+ years of direct people management experience leading analytics/insights teams.
Deep domain expertise in patient journey & support within specialty/pharma markets.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic decision-support for patient engagement and portfolio execution.
Design and quantify patient journeys using diverse healthcare data (claims, EHR, PROs, etc.).
Transform the Patient Insights function with AI/ML, predictive modeling, and scalable analytics.
Oversee NBA framework development and real-time, data-driven recommendations.
