Job summary

Samyang America, Inc. is seeking aSr. Director, Packaging Engineer to lead packaging design strategy and brand leadership across our growing portfolio.

You will drive innovation in graphic and structural packaging, ensure retail readiness, and reinforce brand equity with consumer-centric solutions. You will work closely with Samyang headquarters in Korea and U.S. teams to align with global standards, regulatory requirements, and cost targets while guiding external partners and internal

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in packaging/graphic/industrial design or related field is required.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in packaging design or packaging innovation.
• Experience in food and beverage or consumer brands is required.
• Knowledge of FDA labeling requirements and packaging regulations.
• Ability to translate brand strategy into compelling consumer packaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging strategy and brand leadership for Samyang America's portfolio.
• Develop and execute the packaging design strategy to support growth.
• Direct the design of high-impact graphic and structural packaging.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Innovation, R&D, Procurement, SCM and Sales.
• Ensure packaging standards, governance, and regulatory compliance.
