Job summary

Lilly in Indianapolis is seeking a senior leader to establish and grow the Global Facilities Delivery owner-side construction management and HSE capabilities on mega-programs. You will direct construction engineering, QA/QC, contracts, and labor relations across greenfield and brownfield projects to protect safety, quality, and schedule.

This role requires a PE or CCM preferred, 15 years of leadership on large capital programs (> $1B), and ability to influence without direct authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 15+ years of construction leadership experience.
• Experience leading owner‑side construction management of major capital projects (>$1B).
• Demonstrated ability to lead across EPC/EPCm contractors and in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead owner-side construction management and HSE capabilities across mega-programs.
• Provide senior leadership for construction engineering, QA/QC, and contracts management.
• Oversee field performance of EPC/contractors, change orders, and RFI resolution.
• Guide workforce strategy and industrial relations across union and non‑union sites.
• Set and enforce standards for execution, HSE, and field quality across portfolio.
• Collaborate with Design, PM, Controls, and Procurement to integrate construction early.
• Own construction KPIs and coordinate with EPC partners on incentives and continuity.
• Develop multi-year resource and capital forecasts for construction capability.
• Build a self-sustaining owner construction talent pipeline.
