Job summary

Andersen James Group is seeking a Sr Director of OSP Construction to lead regional OSP teams and oversee fiber deployment for enterprise and data center networks. The role emphasizes high-capacity, mission-critical fiber builds with stringent uptime requirements and cross-functional collaboration.

You will develop operational processes, manage contractors, and ensure safety, compliance, and timely project completion across multiple regions. Willingness to travel regionally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, electrical engineering, civil engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years leading OSP or enterprise/data center fiber construction teams.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, cost reporting, and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and manage regional OSP teams including field managers and construction staff.
• Lead multiple high-capacity fiber construction projects ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Develop and implement training programs for operational excellence and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and enterprise policies.
• Oversee third-party contractors, monitor performance, and maintain vendor scorecards.
• Manage budgets and allocate resources across regions and projects.
• Liaise with local authorities, enterprise clients, and stakeholders during deployment.
• Review project specs, BOMs, diagrams, and as-built docs for fiber systems.
• Support scheduling, budgeting, and resource acquisition while maintaining uptime.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment across office and field teams.
