Job summary

ekCom Resources seeks a Director of Fiber Operations to lead all aspects of OSP/Fiber construction, ensuring schedules, budgets, and contractual commitments are met. You will provide leadership to construction personnel and OSP vendors in an entrepreneurial, new-build environment.

This regionally focused role requires 60-80% travel between offices in Indiana and Ohio, with primary responsibilities spanning leadership, policy creation, and deployment expediting solutions.

Qualifications

• Direct experience leading all aspects of OSP/Fiber construction projects.
• Proven leadership and mentorship of construction teams and vendors.
• Ability to develop deployment policies and procedures.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across IN and OH offices.

Responsibilities

• Forward-facing interactions with senior leadership and customers.
• Overseeing day-to-day construction and SOP adherence.
• Overseeing invoices and as-builts compilation.
• P&L responsibility and minimum profitability.
• Growth and development of Sunrise managers.
• Process improvement as necessary.
• Market growth where possible.
• Travel between markets as necessary and start/grow offices.
