The University of South Carolina's SOMG School of Medicine Greenville is seeking an Associate Dean for Organizational Climate and Well-Being, a senior leadership role to advance a thriving, inclusive, and high‑performing academic community.

This role provides strategic leadership for initiatives that strengthen institutional culture, workforce engagement, accessibility, and professional fulfillment across the medical school.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, public administration, or related field with 6 years of related experience.
• Experience in academic medicine, healthcare organizations, higher education, or related environments.
• Experience contributing to initiatives related to organizational culture, well-being, workforce engagement, inclusive excellence, and/or leadership development.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across faculty, staff, and trainee communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to strengthen institutional climate and culture.
• Serve as Executive Director for Institutional Climate and Culture.
• Guide efforts that promote belonging, excellence, and workforce engagement across the school.
• Collaborate with departments and institutional partners to foster an environment where all members thrive.
