Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, North Carolina seeks a senior member of the clinical trials leadership team to provide strategic direction, develop and communicate the department vision, and sponsor innovative projects that drive transformational change across multiple disciplines.

You will oversee budgets, monitor performance, ensure GCP/ICH and FDA compliance, and deliver executive updates and enterprise-wide planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; 15+ years of directly-related clinical trials experience; management experience; oncology experience.
• RN not required, but RNs must hold a current state nursing license and CPR certification.
• OR Master’s Degree with 10+ years’ related clinical trials experience; oncology focus; management experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expert knowledge of GCP/ICH and applicable FDA/regulatory requirements.
• Assists in developing the operational budget for the department.
• Provides strategic direction and oversight for enterprise-wide clinical trial projects.
• Performs metric analysis to ensure workload aligns with team objectives.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and prepares for audits and inspections.
• Delivers updates to executive stakeholders through reports and presentations.
• Develops and monitors performance reports related to trials portfolio.
